About the work
一个男人常常去看一个女人。
他们聊天、做爱、喝酒，有时一起散步。男人离开，又回来。女人画画，谈论自由，也不断问一些没有答案的问题。拍摄最初，我并不知道自己究竟想从他们身上看到什么。我只是对两个人为什么不断靠近，又不断彼此伤害感到好奇。摄影机留在他们身边，看他们说话、沉默、触碰、争吵，也看一个人离开以后，另一个人如何继续生活。女人曾问：如果不通过镜子，也不通过别人的目光，一个人能不能看见自己？我也不知道，也许拍这部电影，只是想再看一会儿。
A man often comes to see a woman.
They talk, make love, drink, and sometimes take walks together. He leaves, then returns. She paints, talks about freedom, and keeps asking questions that seem to have no clear answers.
When I began filming them, I did not really know what I was looking for. I was simply curious about why two people keep moving toward each other, even when they continue to hurt one another.
The camera stays close to them, watching them talk, fall silent, touch, argue, and watching what remains when one person leaves and the other continues living.
Later, the woman asks whether it is possible to see oneself without a mirror, and without the gaze of another person.
I don't know either.
Perhaps making this film was simply a way of looking a little longer.
